Sally McRae Glass Butterfly Workshop

Thursday 5th June, 11am-4pm

Butterfly Workshop
Dates: Thursday 5th June
Time: 11am to 4pm
Cost: £105
Level: Intermediate – some glass cutting experience needed

In this workshop you will make a butterfly that can be hung as a light catcher or fixed to a wall/fence with a ‘stand-off’ fixing.
The workshop is aimed at people with some glass cutting experience. You will first make a clear base which will be cut in sections to form the butterfly shape then you will be free to either use my template to create a butterfly similar to the pictures or
you can go wild with your own design. You will have access to a wide choice of coloured transparent glass and pre-fused cabochons which you can use to design your own piece of art.

After the workshop your butterflies will be taken to my studio where they will be fired twice in kiln.  They will be ready 14 days after the workshop and can be collected from Lamport Hall or posted out to you for the cost of the postage.

Old clothes are recommended. Please do not wear open toed shoes.
