Father Christmas in the Tudor House

30th November and 1st, 7th & 8th December

Come and visit Lamport Hall’s Tudor House, home to Father Christmas for the weekends of Saturday 30th November & Sunday 1st December and Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December for a reimagined Father Christmas experience at Lamport Hall.

Building on the success of previous years, Father Christmas this year will be in our decorated Tudor House with a roaring wood fire. On arrival, children will queue up to meet Santa in their group of 10 children. Whilst waiting, adults will be given a warm drink and a mince pie. Once inside the Tudor House and settled by the fire, Santa will come out to talk to the children as a group and then call out names individually or as a family to have a photo and receive their personalised nice certificate and wrapped present. Santa's elves will then assist children in playing snowball skittles - all having a go will be given a sweet treat - and give them their train ticket. The Tudor House session will last approximately ten minutes. Upon exiting, children can then head to the Old Dairy where they can take part in crafts including making their own reindeer food and writing their letter to Father Christmas. There will also be a postbox to post any drawings and notes to the big man himself!

Families are welcome to enjoy everything the fair has to offer during their visit to Father Christmas including stalls, festive food, a charity tombola, a choir, themed entertainers, a festive photobooth and facepainting (second weekend only). On exiting the market, children can hand in their train ticket to ride the miniature railway train - the perfect end to a festive experience.

On booking please make sure to accurately fill out your child's name, age and gender so they can have a handpicked, wrapped and named present and certificate during the experience. If the child attending changes, please notify us with as much notice as possible so we can make the necessary changes to their gift etc.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your designated timeslot, so you can check in and adults can have their refreshments. Please allow enough time to walk through the market to reach the Tudor House in addition to this 10 minutes.

Although the Father Christmas experience itself is inside, queuing will be outside so do dress appropriately for the weather.

All tickets to Father Christmas include access to the Christmas Market for one adult per child. Any additional adults can purchase entry for the reduced rate of £4pp in advance. You are welcome to enjoy the fair at any time between 10am and 4pm regardless of the start time of your session.
