Ana Gargova: CHF Concert
1st November - 6.30pm
Lamport Hall is delighted to be hosting a magical Autumn concert in aid of the Counties Heritage Foundation.
The Counties Heritage Foundation is a charity that supports the conservation of arts and heritage for the public benefit in the four counties of Northamptonshire, Rutland, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire through its heritage grants. Each year, since its foundation 4 years ago, the charity has held an evening candlelit concert at Lamport Hall to highlight a rising star concert performer.
This year the concert features the renowned young pianist from Tbilisi, Georgia, Ana Gargova. A talented child prodigy, Ana studied at the Guildhall School of Music in London and has made London her home.
The programme for the concert reveals the notable natural lyricism in her playing and includes a Mozart Sonata, an Etude by Rachmaninoff and a Chopin Ballade. After the interval enjoy a Beethoven Sonata, a Chopin waltz with a finale - Ginastera - Danzas / Argentinas.
The concert itself will take place in the beautiful High Room, with pre-concert drinks and canapes being held in the Oak Room.
Tickets £35 pp
