Group Visits

Groups are welcome, by arrangement, at any time to Lamport when the house is not open to the public, which is on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Please note that HHA and Gardener’s World subscription cards cannot always be used for group visits.

Hall & Gardens Visit

After the tour of the Hall, visitors are free to discover the delights of the gardens. Access to the gardens is unguided to allow visitors time to explore at their leisure, but a Guided Walk leading visitors through the garden’s design, history and modern day developments can be added.

All groups can also enjoy the ‘Through the Ages’ exhibition, the Museum of Rural Life situated in the grounds and, whenever possible, the beautiful parish church opposite the Hall where many of the Ishams are buried.
