Art, Craft & Design Fair
Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd May 2020
Open 10am – 4pm each day
A fantastic opportunity to pick up some unique handcrafted products and design tips. Held in the former stable block of Lamport Hall with over 70 stalls showcasing handmade wares from regional artists, craft workers and designers including artwork, decorative glassware, jewellery, home wares, wood products, textiles, fudge, accessories, cakes and much more stalls to be seen. Browse a variety of beautiful products, perfect for that unique gift or a treat for yourself.
In addition, enjoy artists at work and discover traditional rural crafts such as willow weaving and pole lathe turning.
While you are here come and meet some of our Masterclass tutors who will be demonstrating crafts including leather work, oil painting, mosaics and felting over both days. Learn about the different art and craft classes on offer at Lamport Hall and get involved with a community piece of art that will be worked on over the weekend.
Refreshments will be available from Sauls of Spratton so why not relax with a drink and a bite to eat?
Disabled parking and toilet facilities are available. However please note that although the event is held mostly on one level, there are a few steps in places and some gravel paths/cobbled areas in the stables. There are also deep gravelled paths in the gardens.
Individual stall holders may take cards but not all are able to. The nearest cash machine is in Brixworth village.
Friendly dogs are welcome on short leads.
Interested in visiting the Hall & Gardens while you are here? The house and gardens will also be open from 1pm to 4pm (last entry 3.15pm), both days. House & Gardens admission is under separate admission.
