“Post-lockdown-let-your-hair-down”: an outdoor concert by Fiori Musicali

Saturday, 29th August 2020
5.30pm to 6.45pm

Gardens Open at 4.00pm for pre-performance viewing, with pre-order drinks

Known for their wonderful baroque and classical music performances that draw audiences into another world, now Fiori Musical take advantage of this surreal new socially-distanced world to offer an alternative Fiori experience.

Some of Fiori Musicali’s favourite performers let their hair down with an alternative programme of music that they really enjoy playing together and sharing with an intimate outdoor audience.

Including Brahms’ Hungarian Dances, a dazzling Czardas for violin and piano and music by Beethoven and Schubert, plus a few surprises. Performed in the stunning walled garden of Lamport Hall, a Grade I listed country house in the heart of rural Northamptonshire within easy reach from London, this performance presents a unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful and slightly informal music in glorious botanical surroundings.

The walled garden is accessible for wheelchairs although assistance may be required when travelling along gravel paths and to use one ramp.

Free parking is provided on site.

Please note that this performance has a socially distanced seating arrangement for the audience. Tickets are priced for three seating options:
1) seated at a table underneath a gazebo, appropriate to your size of party, towards the rear of the audience;
2) seated at a table in the open air, in the middle of the audience;
3) seated on picnic blankets (provided), towards the front of the audience.

If audience members wish to be seated near to a party booked by another person, subject to social distancing guidelines, please email events@lamporthall.co.uk to confirm the names of the people booking the relevant parties, to enable table to be allocated appropriately.

Tickets include an annual pass to visit the gardens whenever they are open to the public (excluding ticketed events), valid for one year. The gardens will be open to audience members from 4.00pm although the audience must be seated in their allocated areas in the Walled Garden at least ten minutes before the performance begins at 5.30pm.

Drinks and picnic hampers are available to pre-order.  Hampers are charged on a per-person basis, but might be presented as one hamper, appropriately sized, for group orders.  The performance will end by 6.45pm and there will be no interval.  Audience members are welcome to remain in their seating areas after the performance if they wish to dine later, vacating the grounds no later than 8.30pm.
