Civil Marriages & Weddings
At Lamport Hall we have a choice of two rooms that are licensed for civil ceremonies however we never have more than one wedding at a time, therefore you can enjoy your special day with exclusivity.
The Oak Room
With a staircase entrance for the Bride and magnificent panelled walls, the Oak Room is an impressive setting for the event.
This room can accommodate approximately 70 guests.
The High Room
The High Room is home to some of the largest paintings from Lamport’s collection, and as the tallest space within the Hall, provides a breathtaking environment for the occassion.
This room can accommodate approximately 45 guests.
Both the High Room and the Oak Room have the option of signing the register in the Library.
At Lamport Hall we are also able to cater for your reception, should you wish to remain with us for the whole event.
We offer a Formal Wedding Breakfast with a top table in our Victorian Dining Room for up to 50 guests and an Informal Wedding Breakfast Buffet in the Hall for up to 70 guests.
After the ceremony the gardens are yours for photographs, providing a beautiful backdrop whatever the season.
“We have received our photos – the house and grounds look stunning.”
“A big thank you – our wedding went without a hitch.”
